Here's to a better COUNTRY...here's to a free and EQUAL United States where ALL people matter and they have the "things" they nned to survive and BE HAPPY!! Here's to No Kings Day!!! I appreciate your reposted and lightly edited column today, Chris. This Saturday will be my first opportunity to physically participate in the No Kings rally, and your words resonated with me- never lose sight of our end-goals: lowering Trump's approval rating even more, showing that I am protesting as a way to show my love and support for American democracy.

Unfortunately, in Seattle a large demonstration without a carnival like atmosphere is an oxymoron. I really wish the people who seem to put Gaza/Palestine front and center would understand that we are trying to build a coalition to defeat fascism and that coalition is going to have to include Jews who aren’t necessarily anti-Zionists.
