I am all for the aim of the protest, I have lived under fascism, the last time I marched in a peaceful demonstration we were shot at from rooftops. I was a 19 years old Student, now I am over 90 a peaceful retired Academic, a citizen of what I believed to be a free Democracy. At my age I cannot march but I am wholeheartedly with is aims
There is simply no way to get rid of the funny props, signs, and circus/carnival atmosphere or the angry or partisan speeches As a Jew I see plenty of Palestinian flags and that makes me want to bring images of a Palestinian flag together with an Israeli flag to show support for some kind of two peoples living side by side most likely with two states.
