Again, you are the calm voice in my head. Thank you for this succinct recap of where we stand against Trump and the "do nothing" Republicans.

Thank you for putting this together! I've been thinking about all these variables and was having a hard time remembering them, but this is so useful and easy to understand.

Thanks as always.

If more people, especially those that vote, cared about events everywhere, his numbers would be lower.

They are only about me, mine, and nobody else.

Just don't care.

Every two years we hear ecstatic “there will be a Blue Wave!” but it never materializes because the Democratic Party doesn’t build an alternative movement, it only fund raises on opposition to the Republicans.

The NYC mayoral race was certainly not more of the same old, same old from the winner.

Opposition to Republicans seems like a canny campaign strategy for 2026 midterms?

We agree that Dems need to have a better message then "We aren't Republicans" for the 2028 POTUS race , though.

THANK YOU Matt. Concise and rational. The type of reporting needed in these unarguably tempestuous times.

LOL, I still can't say anything to R. She's still furious with me for telling her at 9PM on Election Day 2016 that Clinton would win by the time she woke up. It's the sofa for me for sure if I get it wrong twice!
