My guest today is Jeffrey Seller, the Tony Award winning producer of Hamilton, Rent, In the Heights, and Avenue Q. Jeffrey has been active in Democratic politics for a long time and has been a prolific fundraiser for the Biden and Harris campaigns as well as for Democrats running to hold or win vulnerable senate seats. He is also a thoughtful observer of the political scene. Our wide-ranging discussion looks at the last three weeks of the Biden campaign, the political role played by the arts in general and theater in particular, and whether the flawless launch of the Harris campaign is too unbelievable to be the basis for a Broadway show.
